How much does a sail cost?
Day Sails: $40 per Adult (Ages 11+) $25 per Child (Ages 3-10) FREE – Infants & Babies (Ages 0-2) | Sunset Sails: $50 per Adult (Ages 11+) $50 per Child (Ages 3-10) FREE – Infants & Babies (Ages 0-2) |
How long is the Day sail?
All daytime sails are approximately one hour long.
How long is the Sunset sail?
Sunset sails are approximately 60 to 90 minutes long, depending on the time of year. The boat returns after the sun has set.
Does the Sunset sail time change with daylight savings?
The sunset sail departure time changes depending on the time of year.

5:30 PM Departure (Mar – Sept)
*Please Note* Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time.
What is the age limit on Children?
There is no age limit for children.
Babies and toddlers are welcome aboard!
Children between the ages of 3 – 10 are
$25 for Day Sails & $50 for Sunset Sails.
Children 2 years old and under are FREE
but require an infant ticket at booking!
*Please bring your own life jacket for children ages 0-2.
Where is the boat located?
Catamaran Kepoikai II is located on the beach fronting The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort and Duke’s Waikiki. Walk to the end of Surfboard Alley and you can’t miss us!
When should I arrive?
Always check in approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled sail time. If you plan to drive into Waikiki, expect and plan for traffic & parking.
Meet us at the blue and white catamaran on the beach. We also have a blue and white umbrella with white folding chairs set up in front of the boat.
Is There Parking / Do You Validate?
Unfortunately, we do not have any parking of our own, nor can we validate for parking. If you are going to drive, please plan to arrive early and park either at the Royal Hawaiian Center Parking Structure or the International Marketplace Parking Structure and walk down Waikiki Surf Alley to find us. You can also valet park at the Outrigger Waikiki.
Is This Activity Wheelchair Accessible?
Unfortunately, our tours are not considered wheelchair accessible as our vessel boards directly off of Waikiki beach up a railing ladder and can be difficult for those who require assistance upstairs. With our unique boarding process, you can expect to get a bit wet and have to navigate some crashing waves but our team is happy to assist! Due to the nature of our beach boarding style, our tours are not considered wheelchair accessible or recommended for those who may need assistance climbing stairs.
What is your cancellation policy?
Bummer you can’t make it! If you need to cancel, please call, text, or email us as early as possible so we can help.
For standard sails:
- 1–5 guests: Please cancel at least 24 hours before departure for a full refund.
- 6+ guests or bookings of most of the boat: Please cancel at least 72 hours before departure for a full refund.
For private charters:
- Full payment is due 7 days (1 week) before your charter.
- Cancel at least 72 hours before departure for a full refund.
Full refunds are also issued if we cancel due to weather, conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances. Guests wishing to rebook or reschedule should also contact us before their cancellation deadline (24 or 72 hours, depending on group size/charter).
No‑shows and guests who cancel within their cancellation window will be charged the full price.
Where can I purchase Tickets?
Purchase tickets ahead of time online or by calling or texting us at (808) 201-1534. You can pay via the link in your confirmation email or on the boat. Cash and cards are accepted!
Are drinks included with the ticket?
Drinks are NOT included with the price of the sail. We have a small (CASH ONLY) bar onboard with Mai Tais for $6.00 apiece, beers for $4.00 apiece, and soft drinks, Juice & Water available for $2.00 apiece.
Can I bring my own food / drink on board?
Guests are always welcome to bring their own food / drink onboard. This includes alcoholic beverages. Please refrain from bringing any glass aboard. Mahalo!
How should I dress? Will I get wet?
Dress in bathing suits, cover-ups, or shorts. Don’t forget to bring a Towel!
Please Note: Feet & Legs WILL get wet boarding the boat. If sitting up front or on the nets you WILL get wet!
What happens if the weather is bad or the Kepoikai II crew cancels the trip?
All customers will receive a full refund for any cancellation made by the company due to weather, high surf, maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances. Rescheduling is available at no charge.
How big is the boat?
Our catamaran is 42 feet long and 20 feet wide!
Is there a bathroom aboard?
Yes, there is a small head (toilet) aboard in one of the hulls. We recommend you go ahead of time!
