How much does a sail cost?
Day Sails: $35 per Adult (Ages 11+) $20 per Child (Ages 4 – 10) Kids (Ages 0 -3) are FREE | Sunset Sails: $40 per Adult (Ages 11+) $20 per Child (Ages 4 – 10) Kids (Ages 0 -3) are FREE |
What is the age limit on Children?
Children between ages 4 – 10 are $15. Children 3 years old and under are FREE! There is no age limit for children. Babies and toddlers are welcome!
How long is the Day sail?
All daytime sails are approximately one hour long.
How long is the Sunset sail?
Sunset sails are approximately 60 to 90 minutes long depending on the time of year. The boat returns after the sun has set.
Does the Sunset sail time change with daylight savings?
The sunset sail departure time changes depending on the time of year. Right now it’s 5:00 PM until the sun sets. The time will vary with the season. *Please Note* Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time.
Where is the boat located?
Kepoikai II is located on the beach fronting The Outrigger Waikiki Beach Resort.
When should I arrive?
Always check-in approximately 15 minutes before your shceduled sail time. If you plan to drive in to Waikiki, expect and plan for traffic and parking.
Meet us at the blue and white catamaran on the beach. We also have a blue and white umbrella set up in front of the boat.
Is There Parking / Do You Validate?
Unfortunately, we do not have any parking of our own, nor can we validate for parking. If you are going to drive, please plan to arrive early and park either at the Royal Hawaiian Center Parking Structure or the International Marketplace Parking Structure and walk down Waikiki Surf Alley to find us. You can also valet park at the Outrigger Waikiki or Royal Hawaiian.
Is This Activity Wheelchair Accessible?
Unfortunately, our tours are not considered wheelchair accessible as our vessel boards directly off of Waikiki beach up a railing ladder and can be difficult for those who require assistance up stairs. With our unique boarding process you can expect to get a bit wet and have to navigate some waves but our team is happy to assist! Due to the nature of our beach boarding style, our tours are not considered wheelchair accessible or recommended for those who may need assistance climbing stairs.
What is your cancellation policy?
Bummer you can’t make it! If you need to cancel, please call or email us to let us know.
All guests receive a full refund with a minimum of 24-hour notice prior to departure time. Full refunds are also issued in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Guests wishing to rebook or reschedule must also give 24 hours notice.
No-shows and guests canceling within 24 hours of departure will be charged full price!
Where can I purchase Tickets?
Are drinks included with the ticket?
Drinks are NOT included with the price of the sail. We have a small bar onboard with Mai Tais for $6.00 a piece, beers for $4.00 a piece, and Coke, Juice & Water available for $2.00 a piece.
Can I bring my own food / drink on board?
Guests are always welcome to bring their own food / drink onboard. This includes alcoholic beverages. Please refrain from bringing any glass bottle abaord. Mahalo!
How should I dress? Will I get wet?
Dress in bathing suits, cover-ups, or shorts. Don’t forget to bring a Towel!
Please Note: Feet & Legs WILL get wet boarding the boat. If sitting up front on the nets you will get wet as well.
What happens if the weather is bad or the Kepoikai II crew cancels the trip?
All customers will receive a full refund for any cancellation made by the company due to weather, high surf, maintenance, or other unforeseen circumstances. Rescheduling is available at no charge.
How big is the boat?
Our catamaran is 42 feet long and 20 feet wide!

Yes, you can purchase Gift Cards that can be redeemed online whenever their is availability.
